W malarstwie interesuje mnie najbardziej człowiek, ale i natura i inne tematy są mi bliskie.
Uprawiam malarstwo olejne, akrylowe oraz akwarelę.
Moje malarstwo opiera się na realizmie, hiperrrealizmie, surrealizmie i symbolizmie. Szczególnie symbolizm jest mi bardzo bliski, w związku z tym każdy obraz który stworzę opowiada pewną historię i o czymś mówi, a żaden element na płótnie nie jest dziełem przypadku.
Staram się też nie rezygnować z obrazów, jakie jawią mi się często w fazie połowicznego snu - są to często migawki niczym kawałki puzzli, które potem staram się ułożyć w całość lub źródło inspiracji do stworzenia kolejnego obrazu. Dzięki temu mogę wprowadzić Widza w głąb fantastycznych, surrealistycznych, baśniowych światów, niepozbawionych warstwy symbolicznej, w których wszystko jest możliwe, a jedyną granicą, jest granica naszej wyobraźni.

Karen Broyan - Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, majoring in Easel Painting in the studio of prof. P. Klugowski - an annex to the diploma in stained glass in 2012 and Graphic Design in the studio of prof. W. Michorzewski - annex to the diploma in photography in 2013.
In painting, I am most interested in human, but also nature and other topics are close to me. I practice oil, acrylic and watercolor painting.
My painting is based on realism, hyperrealism, surrealism and symbolism. Symbolism is especially close to me, therefore every painting I create tells a story and is about something, and no element on the canvas is a coincidence. I also try not to give up the images that often appear to me in the half-asleep phase - they are often snapshots like pieces of a puzzle that I then try to put together or a source of inspiration to create another image. Thanks to this, I can introduce the viewer to the depths of fantastic, surreal, fairy-tale worlds, not devoid of a symbolic layer, in which everything is possible, and the only limit is the limit of our imagination.
